While it is innocently simplistic, designed for children, it signals the vast potential of artificial intelligence in the future. Cozmo is comprised of no less than 360 components, including four motors, 50 gears, an integrated CPU, and a 30fps VGA camera. At his core, Cozmo is still your little coding robot who's got a mind of his own and a few tricks up his sleeve. The coding language underneath the hood is Scratch but what Anki has managed to do is simplify complex arrangements so it never feels like schoolwork - but you will feel educated after doing it.

Unlocking new ways to explore science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) topics that are taught, pre-K to adult. Combined with facial recognition software, the latter feature means it’s capable of recognising, remembering, and reacting to up to 10 different faces, as well as interacting intelligently with its surroundings.
