Entertainment have released a new clip which gives a flavour of Sheridan’s mood as he takes up his new responsibilities. Series stars Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Peter Jurasik, Bill Mumy, Tracy Scoggins and Patricia Tallman all reprise their original roles. Babylon 5 has previously only been available on DVD and the image quality wasn’t always the best, so fans have been waiting for this moment for quite some time.

It appears to visit a crucial moment during the show’s time-hopping season 3 story ‘War Without End’. The new HD presentation includes all five seasons of the show with live action film elements scanned in 4K from the original camera negative, digitally cleaned and properly color graded, with VFX upsampled from the original SD.It's also compatible with loads of devices - from iOS and Android to Roku, Apple TV and PlayStations. Babylon 5 is also slated to receive a reboot, which is apparently still in development over at The CW.

Not to mention the sound—each film includes a new Dolby Atmos surround sound mix that absolutely IS reference quality.Universal has also set the new release film Wild Mountain Thyme, starring Emily Blunt, Jamie Dornan, Jon Hamm, and Christopher Walken, for release on DVD and Digital only on 2/2. A future-history story covering the years 2257 – 2262, with each year corresponding to one season, Babylon 5 was the first series to introduce viewers to the concept of a five-year arc, with a defined beginning, middle, and end, paving the way for a number of such later series.
