The Bosch Advanced Rotak 650 trimmed very close to the edges and I only had to use the strimmer on a few strands rather than huge wads of grass. The Bosch AdvancedRotak 750 is a great all round mower that is designed for the maintenance of medium-to-large sized lawns. Even though it’s fitted with a ProSilence feature, I didn’t notice much difference in the sound level compared with other lawnmowers.

The only other slight difference with regards to features relates to the number and range of cutting heights.The only downside was that when I checked the grass collector afterwards, the leaves were only slightly shredded. It is an investment that will just keep giving year after year, and put a smile on your face whilst mowing!

Can you clarify whether or not the machine is still built with the roller (for stripey lawn effect).If you like the features that Bosch have packed into this mower but want a slightly larger deck size then you may want to consider the identical AdvancedRotak 750 with a larger deck of 45 cm. The Bosch brand is also very well known and they too have an excellent reputation for reliable and affordable products.

The Bosch Advanced Rotak 650 was easy to manoeuvre, but there’s no denying that it’s heavier than most.Thanks for you feedback on this mower, this is the first time anyone has reported problems like this. Some mowers I have reviewed are so difficult to adjust the height, this is normally when the height adjustment lever is located towards the front of the mower or where you have to turn the mower over and manually adjust the front wheels and rear wheels separately.
