The news was first shared by the manga series editor Shihei Lin on social media, confirming that serialisation will resume in Jump Plus from July 13th.

However, the big news today, June 20th, is that the release date for Chainsaw Man Part 2 has now been set for July 13th, 2022!The series is divided into two parts, the Public Safety Saga (officially referred to as an arc) and the Academy Saga.

Yeah some scenes are R rated for a shonen manga and then more revelations are to be had which is cool and their next mission is in some hotel but they are trapped and the devil here is unique. Volume 2 of Chainsaw Man maintains the consistently ridiculous and whacky tone of the first volume, but adds a surprising amount of depth to the character interactions, the complexity behind their seemingly simplistic motivations and some interesting details about the current state of the world. Aiming to separate from Yoru as quickly as possible, Asa goes on a quest to locate and investigate the Chainsaw Man and mysteries around her school while meeting new friends and foes alike.The background of the colored cover is green with the title logo and author's name being pink with a blood-spattered texture. There was a loooooot of different character backstory being piled on at once in this volume, making things kind of hard to get into. She may have trouble getting along with her fellow students and the class pet devil chicken, but Asa has something special going for her.
