Easy Joint Paving Jointing Compound 12.5kg – Buff Sand
About this deal
Making hard landscaping even easier because the product is best installed in wet conditions - rain or shine, it goes in fine. If the paving joints only partially dry out on the surface and remain wet below, and are repeatedly allowed to get wet, partially dry out etc, over a period of time, the curing process may fail altogether.
When pointing a porous surface, such as Sandstone and Limestone, it is recommended to use plenty of water as this helps prevent temporary staining from the compound.Use a squeegee or soft bristle push broom to move the jointing compound around the surface and water to move the compound to the bottom of the paver joint. A stronger mix may cause the base to become impermeable and this will mean that water does not drain away. This gap shape can be the most challenging to work with and we recommend you carefully follow the instructions below.
It also takes about twice the amount of time to install when compared to polymeric sand and is more difficult to install without more than one person.
Jointology is the science of proper jointing for all kinds of small element paving from cobble to flags. It is suitable for all types of paving material provided there is a gap of at least 3mm wide and 20mm deep.
It can be pressure washed as well to free any blockages caused by organics on the surface of the joints.Suitable for all types of paving material, this easy-to-use product is strong enough to resist the elements and stand the test of time, making it much more effective than traditional jointing methods.
