Often used for touch-up work, spraying paint is convenient and practical as the drying times are short meaning a job can be completed quickly. Shake can vigorously, in a vertical motion, until the agitator ball is heard and then for a further 3 minutes.

Spray a test patch of Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint onto painted surfaces and leave for 1 hour.This is a subtle satin smooth finish which provides a low sheen alternative to Hammerite Smooth Finish. Hammerite Metal Paints are specially formulated to form a tough barrier that resists knocks and scrapes, maintaining a beautiful finish for longer. Hammerite Paint is specially formulated to be applied directly onto rusty metal with minimal surface preparation.

An aerosol paint uses pressurised air to push the paint through a nozzle allowing for an even finish without the use of brushes or rollers. Hammerite Aerosol Metal Paint is specially formulated to perform as primer, undercoat and topcoat in one. It is Water Based and especially formulated to be applied direct to rust and direct to any type of metal without a primer.
