Games Workshop - Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave - Morgweath's Blade-Coven
About this deal
For Destruction, I don’t think any force fits the wild warfare of the Eightpoints better than the Bonesplitterz squad. I predict I’ll spend months playing with them, swearing up and down that there is some great deck or strategy that will make them top tier only to eventually admit that depending on 2 Wound fighters in this game is rough.

She’s particularly useful for finishing off foes in the later stages of the game, gaining Cleave when she Inspires! Gashrak’s Despoilers have performed a bit better, by way of having extremely good Objectives and slightly better fighters than the others, but even they haven’t quite cracked top tiers of play on a regular basis. The main issue is the fairly tough (but thematic) inspire mechanic, general fragility and low damage output.
Morgwaeth - Age of Sigmar - Lexicanum
This would be really tempting in a world where Pit Trap didn’t exist, and might gain some interest once it rotates out. There’s probably some reactions out there I’m not remembering that shut it down but it’s going to fun apologizing to your opponent as you play it since they’re probably already annoyed you rolled a crit. On the tabletop, Morgwaeth does everything a Hag Queen does, boasting the Witchbrew and Prayers of Khaine abilities from that warscroll.
Every faction is sending their best (or perhaps most expendable) forces deep into Archaon’s realm to steal some of the coveted Varanite and cause a little mayhem on the way. Khamyss Inspired sees her Bladed Buckler go to 2 fury and 2 damage while her movement characteristic increases to 5 and her dodge characteristic increases to 2.
