About this deal
When Jinwoo is later killed by the Monarchs, Ashborn appears in the flesh to save him and gives Jinwoo a detailed explanation of his past. Although they have noble ambitions, they are willing to use morally questionable methods to achieve them and are indirectly responsible for the millions of human lives lost ever since monsters first began using gates to cross over to the human world. We can say that he is already International Level S rank hunter maybe stronger, since he did alarm Mr go and Baek and the retired hunter, while the international level hunter failed to do that.
Jinwoo continues to discover things about the Monarchs and unbeknownst to him he will encounter even more while saving Japan. With Esil the demon noble’s guidance and his shadow army by his side, Jinwoo’s making his way up the floors of the Demon Castle at a breakneck pace.
In a world where hunters —human warriors who possess supernatural abilities — must battle deadly monsters to protect mankind from certain annihilation, a notoriously weak hunter named Sung Jinwoo finds himself in a seemingly endless struggle for survival.
I mostly recommend this volume as a read for its continuance of the story, and for delivering on expectations. But it has to jump around a lot, falling back into a much harder to read 'this happened, and then this happened, and then this happened' that reminds me a little of an old RP forum.
