About this deal

When you are gluing together parts that have already been painted (typical for aircraft cockpits), make sure to scrape the paint from the mating surfaces. It is also a great helper when you need to create the glass of positional and other lights on a model. As mentioned above, this glue would be ideal for those who are sensitive to the odor of standard model cement, or for younger modelers, with proper adult supervision.

Tamiya, Inc. Limonene Cement Review Armorama :: Tamiya, Inc. Limonene Cement Review

I find Faller Expert standard setting cement to work well when assembling kits, I tried using Testors plastic cement in the tube a while back and it was quite messy. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Simply moisten the brush in the glue and run the fine tip along the newly scribed panel line and the glue will slightly melt and smooth out the edges of the line. No, it is a very thin liquid that uses capillary action to flow into the seam/join and it melts the two surfaces.

These are for example epoxy glues when strong bonds are needed, glues for clear parts (essentially PVA). The cement appears to be thick in consistency, and is more for spreading onto the parts before joining rather than wicking into gaps. I have always used ready to use plastic glue, I have avoid to try to use chemicals product like MEK or other solvents; they have too much unknow backside against health and I have never have found the necessity to no use the ready to use glue. The cement cuts the amount of time used in constructing models, and has the advantage of a cleaner finish.
