Not only is there a lot of crack / pops considering that it's brand new sealed vinyl, but there's an odd low soft pphhhh wave sound that is apparent in some parts of the record - almost as if the pressing plate itself had a defect(? Daft Punk’s iconic 2010 'Tron: Legacy' score has been vamped up for a second time, 11 years after it first debuted. The limited-edition record was presented as a Target exclusive-only and collected data states that 94% of the 10,000 copies sold between December 10th and 16th were physical ones. Alongside it being loved by both Daft Punk fans and fans of good music in general, the soundtrack also garnered a Grammy nomination.

I do wish though, that Daft Punk would take off their funny masks now and again, so we could thank them to their faces for all the nice and wonderful music they have given to the world. Even if the songs aren’t new, we welcome any and all excuses to re-listen to the Tron: Legacy soundtrack. I have three different pressings of this album, and of the two that I've actually played this one sounds the best (sorry Mondo pressing).Only thing is, I wish they swapped that blue centre label for an orange one on the Neon Orange vinyl as it looks so odd but other than that it’s really clean and high quality! The art and design and colour for the vinyls match perfect to the film and it’s what this soundtrack deserves.
